So that your hat fits just as well as the first day you wear it, the long-established company Stetson offers these practical and size-adjustable hat stretchers. Simply place them in the crown after wearing the hat and adjust the central handle so that it sits snugly without overstretching. You can also stretch a felt or straw hat that has become too tight in this way. It’s normal for headgear to shrink a little over time. This phenomenon is also caused by external environmental influences such as normal air humidity or a rain shower or two. Please note that hats can be stretched by a maximum of 1 cm with the hat stretcher, although this depends on the respective trim band.
