I needed the cap for sailing in summer. Its purpose is to keep the sun or rain out of my eyes without the need for glasses or hood (both restrict vision). Thus the cap needs to sit firmly on the head at different angles (as does the dark coloured woollen Breton cap). The problem is that there is not enough head material to allow the rim of the hat to fit firmly on the head.
