Stonewashed

What is stonewashed? Stonewashed, or " washed with stones" in English, refers to a deliberately created worn-out appearance in fabrics. Originally, the fabric was washed with pumice stones in a washing machine to achieve this used look. However, there are now other methods, such as enzyme washing or treatment with sandblasters. All three processes roughen the fibres and fade the colour in some areas, resulting in a "Used Look" (used appearance).
This look is particularly well-known in denim fashion. Trousers, jackets, or headwear made from stonewashed fabric add a casual style to everyday outfits.
