Trevira
What is Trevira fabric? Trevira is a chemical fibre developed by Hoechst AG based on polyester. In 1980, the sub-brand Trevira CS was introduced, which is a flame-retardant fibre and remains the company's main product to this day. This versatile fibre can be used for various purposes and is primarily used in clothing fabrics and home textiles. Furthermore, after several changes in management, Trevira became a GmbH (limited liability company) in 2010 and, since 2017, has been a subsidiary of Indorama, one of the world's leading polyester manufacturers.
