For men with long hair that hangs down the sides and back of the cap, we recommend flat brim caps to make the head look more harmonious and rounded.

Flat caps

Let’s start with a cap style that is often forgotten about: the flat cap, sometimes called a newsboy cap. This flat peaked cap ubiquitously adorned the heads of men from all social classes in the middle of the 20th century. They are traditionally made from felt, tweed or corduroy. Army caps

Which cap is the right one for me?

With such a wide choice of men’s caps, the question is which is the right one. This basically depends on two factors: size and occasion.

Find the correct cap size

It’s not that difficult to find a men’s cap in the right size. First of all, it’s important to understand the technical terms for the different types of cap closure:

Technical term	Explanation
One size fits all	The cap size can be adjusted to suit the wearer’s head circumference within a certain size range (adjustable with closure)
Snapback	The cap size can be adjusted using a plastic press stud strap
Strapback	The cap size can be adjusted using a strap at the back (usually with a metal fastener)
Full cap	The cap is closed at the back (fitted & Flexfit)
Fitted cap	Tailored to a particular size and closed at the back
Flexfit cap	Stretchy ad closed at the back
