Our icons
Asahi Guard®
Products with Asahi Guard® have water- and oil-repellent properties due to their special coating and are therefore especially well suited for all-weather outdoor use.
Children’s product
Products labelled as ‘Children’s product’ are designed exclusively for children and are therefore only available in correspondingly small sizes.
COOLMAX®
Products equipped with COOLMAX® have the special feature of being able to absorb moisture and quickly transport it to the material surface. The excellent moisture transfer and the high air permeability of such products make them suitable for outdoor sports activities.
Delivered in an UGG box
Products marked as ‘Delivered in an UGG box’ are delivered in a premium gift box by the brand UGG. Depending on the product, the gift box can come in different shapes (cylindrical, round or rectangular).
GORE-TEX®
GORE-TEX® products have a special membrane with fine pores. These products have excellent climate properties and are both waterproof and breathable. GORE-TEX® is especially used in making high-quality functional clothing.
Handmade
Products labelled ‘Handmade’ are made by hand with the great care and workmanship.
Hand wash
Products labelled ‘Hand wash’ may only be washed by hand. This especially concerns delicate products made of fine and high-quality materials, such as angora, cashmere, mohair or silk.
Made in...
The label ‘Made in ...’, which is found on many different products, shows a product’s country of origin. It is often an indicator for exceptional quality or the direct processing of the raw material in the country of origin (e.g. Panama hats from Ecuador).
Packable
All hats labelled ‘Packable’ can be folded together and stowed in travel luggage without losing its shape for later use.
Product in a line
‘Product in a line’ indicates that a product is part of a product line from a manufacturer, which means that there are other products available in the same design or with the same pattern. For example, there may also be caps, scarves or gloves that can go along with the product.
SUPPLEX®
Products labelled with SUPPLEX® are made of a very soft nylon fabric that has the feel of cotton and is often equipped with addition UV protection. The material is exceptionally wear-resistant and very easy to care for. It is also fast-drying and wind- and water-resistant. Furthermore, SUPPLEX® is 26-36% lighter than conventional nylon.
SympaTex®
Products labelled with SympaTex® have a special membrane that is not only water- and windproof but also highly breathable.
UV protection
All products with the label ‘UV protection’ offer integrated UV protection owing to the quality of their material. The number that comes after the label indicates the UV protection factor, which tells you how long you can stay in the sun without sustaining skin damage. For example, a person protected by a material with a UV protection factor of 40 can stay out in the sun for 40 times longer than when unprotected without causing skin damage.
Washable up to...
The label ‘Washable up to ...’, which is found on many different products, indicates the washing recommendation for a product. Example: Fabrics with the symbol ‘Washable up to 30 °C’ may be washed at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C.
Water-repellent
All products with the label ‘Water-repellent’ keep the wearer – at least for the most part – dry and are suitable for outdoor use in rain.
WINDSTOPPER®
Products labelled with WINDSTOPPER® have a special membrane that enables absolute wind-protection while being exceptionally breathable. Therefore, a person wearing an accessory made of WINDSTOPPER® functional fabric can remain pleasantly warm and maintain a high performance level. This is why such products are extremely suitable for daily use, as well as sports and leisure activities in cold and windy conditions.
WOOLRICH®
Products labelled with WOOLRICH® are made, partially or completely, of high-quality WOOLRICH® sheep’s wool. Once chiefly known for their typical black-red chequer design, these products are now available in many different designs.
