Deerstalker

What is a Deerstalker? The Deerstalker is an English hunting hat made of tweed, whose name translates to "deer hunter".
This headwear has been worn since around 1870, usually in combination with a coat whose upper part is cut in the style of a cape. The two side flaps are usually tied up and held over the head with a band. The hat also features a neck flap and a visor to protect the wearer from rain.
Among others, Sherlock Holmes is often depicted wearing a Deerstalker.
