Handmade of the highest quality

With its vision that sustainability and re/upcycling become something quite normal and natural, ReHats Berlin has already a reached a big milestone; they have a brand new venture and stand completely behind their business concept. Production for the milliner operations is done by hand. It is now being run by the third generation. They always use traditional methods of production for this and always adhere to a high level of quality. As well as producing the basic structure of the hat, hat bands are also attached by hand, giving it that extra certain something. Only recycled material is used in the production of the headwear. This includes the aforementioned coffee sacks.

The caps give them a second lease of life, having already passed through various German and European roasting houses. The fine material made from natural jute is reprocessed through upcycling methods and printed with different colours and shapes so that each piece of headwear – whether that be a hat or a cap – becomes a unique item – there are no others in that shape and design.
